Arrowhead’s No. 3 ranked boys hockey team stopped host University School of Milwaukee Tuesday night in a Classic 8 Conference game, 3-1.
The win was the 17th straight for the Warhawks, who improved to a school record 19-0-1 on the season.
AHS and USM (5-1 in conference) are tied for first place with 10 points each and Marquette is next with 8 points.
AHS led 2-0 after the first period and 2-1 after the second period. The Warhawks iced the game when Colin Juenger scored an empty-net goal with less than two minutes to play.
Trenton Skaggs and TJ Haas had the first period goals for AHS. Will Bonk, Carson Heitman and Casey Sodolski had assists.
Arrowhead goalie Mark Moreno saved 24 of 25 shots in the win.
